CALL FOR PAPER

On behalf of AVSE Global and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics we would like to invite you to participate in the 5^th Vietnam Symposium in Leadership and Public Policy (VSLP-2023), which will take place on 25-27 October 2023 in Hanoi, Vietnam. VSLP-2023 focuses on the topic: “Embracing Innovation and Creativity in the Digital World: From Policy to Implementation”.

This event benefits from the collaboration with the Business School, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (Vietnam campus) and the Department of Public and International Affairs, City University of Hong Kong.

The VSLP-2023 Symposium is honored to welcome Distinguished Keynote Speakers:

• M. Ramesh, Professor and UNESCO Chair of Social Policy Design in Asia, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore, Singapore
• M. Jae Moon, Underwood Distinguished Professor of Public Policy and Management, Director of the Institute for Future Government, Yonsei University, South Korea

Our Symposium aims at promoting collaborative research initiatives and experiences between Vietnamese experts and their foreign colleagues. We encourage submissions on various topics such as:

Special issues

There is an opportunity for the papers submitted to the symposium to be considered for a special issue of the Asia Pacific Journal of Public Administration, which will be guest edited by the chairs of the symposium and focuses on the same theme.  

Associated journals

In consultation with the conference organizers and the Editor-in-Chief of the below journals, authors of the best conference papers will be invited to submit their papers to a regular issue of the journal.

Paper submission procedure

Authors are invited to submit their papers, in English, in PDF file, no later than 01 August 2023 (extend to 31 August 2023), via the Symposium website: https://vslp2023.sciencesconf.org/. Early submissions are highly encouraged. The scientific program will be available around early October, after the Symposium registration is closed.

 Important dates 

• Submission deadline for full papers: 01 August 2023 (extend to 31 August 2023)

• Notification of review results: 15 August 2023 (extend to 07 September 2023)

• Registration deadline: 15 September 2023 
  

• Symposium event: 25-27 October 2023
